North and South Ghana have different styles of music.
North Ghana: In the north, music is based on melody and uses stringed instruments such as the kologo, gonjey, wind instruments and voice. The singing is accompanied by clapping or talking drums, gourd drums or brevet.
South Ghana: The music in the south and coast has complicated rhythms played on drums and bells. There is also a style of singing that is accompanied by a Seperewa harp-lute.

Game: Children sit in a circle and each child picks up a rock on beat 1 and places it in front of the person to their right on beat 2. Keep passing while singing!
Variation: Have 1 "yellow" rock and the rest "blue" rocks. Whoever ends with the "yellow" rock on the last "sa" has to leave the circle.
